AI TRPG: start a solo adventure
Want to role-play without assembling a group? Choose a solo story led by an AI game master. How to start your first AI adventure
- Choose an available story
Browse the theme, estimated time, and introduction without signing in. Sign in when ready to start, then follow the story’s character or identity setup.
- Describe your goal and approach
Read the scene and your objective, then investigate, talk, or choose an action. Where free input is supported, try a specific request such as “I check the entrance log to find who left last.” This is an example of how to describe an action.
- Read the outcome and continue
Follow any check or dice prompts, and watch for changes in clues, resources, or character responses. Progression varies by story, and you can save your progress to continue later.
Questions about AI TRPG and solo play
What is AI TRPG?
AI TRPG generally means a role-playing experience where AI handles some narration, character dialogue, or game-master duties. GameGeeking currently offers solo interactive stories: you take actions and AI responds within the story and current state. Checks and progression depend on the scenario.
Can I play alone without a human game master?
The current stories are designed for one player with an AI game master, so you do not need a group or a separate human GM. They focus on personal choices and exploration. For improvisation with friends, choose a game that explicitly supports multiple players.
Do these stories implement the full D&D or Call of Cthulhu rules?
Do not assume that every AI story implements the full D&D or Call of Cthulhu rules. Each scenario has its own characters, checks, and progression. Read its introduction first; stories marked “Coming soon” cannot be started yet. Our TRPG guide introduces traditional tabletop play.
Do I need an app or an account?
No app download is needed: use a phone or desktop browser. You can preview released stories anonymously; sign in to start or resume your own game. Story content is currently in Chinese.
How long does a story take, and can I save?
Cards and story pages show estimated times; your pace of reading and acting determines the actual duration. Progress is saved so you can sign in with the same account to resume an unfinished adventure. Open-ended stories may have no fixed completion time.
